How will we live in future? The image of self-sufficient building envelopes that are going to be able to communicate and interact with us had me fascinated. The concept of smart shells that behave intuitively and react to our needs was the impulse for this project. The result was the oracle „Okagami“ (from an ancient japanese story about where the past and the future meet) – an interpretation of a first approach.
By stepping towards the moving structure it stopped and let you glance at the future of architecture in between the lines of quotes by Bjarke Ingels, Renzo Piano, Peter Walker and Tadao Ando.
